Emergency Fund

Established in 2001, the Emergency Fund Committee is a team of volunteer experts and community advocates who, through collected funds and available services, helps  applicants overcome immediate crises; assist in securing food, shelter, medical and mental care; as well as educate and train individuals to lead an independent life. They provide financial  support and appropriate referrals; Emergency aids to assist financially, emotionally, mentally and or socially distressed families. The source of funding comes from community donations and special fundraising events.

The Emergency Fund Committee is a bilingual team (speaking in both fluent Farsi & English).
